What qualities are required to become an Optometrist?

Optometrists need to have excellent technical skills for the complicated task of examining eyes and operating complex equipment. Optometrists require good listening and communication skills - the great part of the occupation involves one on one communication with patients and clients. Optometry students require sound academic abilities to complete the Optometry degree.
